Normally held in the month of October, the Soup-A-Thon is hosted by the members of the Auxiliary. All Contestants will prepare homemade, soup dishes or chili and bring them to the post on the day in a crockpot already heated for the contest.

All patrons attending the event and trying the soups will determine the top three finalists. There will be a 3rd & 2nd runner up and the winner will be announced. The admission to attend the event is $7.00 a bowl per person.

There will also be a dessert table – all desserts are donated by either the VFW members and/or Auxiliary members. Desserts can be purchased for $1.00 each.

Everyone will have the opportunity to sample the contestant’s homemade soups & chilis. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be given back to the VFW Post 1419 Auxiliary.
